These medications are reported decrease formation of coenzyme-Q10 in the body. Supplementation with the affected nutrient may be necessary.(1)
These drugs include hydrochlorothiazide, chlorothiazide, indapamide, metolazone, chlorthalidone, hydroflumethiazide, polythiazide, trichlormethiazide, benzthiazide, methyclothiazide, bendroflumethiazide.
