How Coenzyme Q10 (CO-Q10) interacts with Sulfonylureas

Some of these medications have been reported to possibly decrease coenzyme-Q10 levels in the body. However, tolbutamide, glipizide and chlorpropamide did not cause this problem. Supplementation with the affected nutrient may be necessary.(1)
These drugs include glyburide, glipizide, glimepiride, tolbutamide, tolazamide, acetohexamide, chlorpropamide.
