How Potassium interacts with Aminoglycosides

These medications are reported to cause increased elimination of potassium in the urine. Supplementation with the affected nutrient may be necessary.(1)
These drugs include streptomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, tobramycin, amakacin, netilmicin, neomycin, paromomycin.
