These medications are reported to cause increased elimination of magnesium in the urine. Supplementation with the affected nutrient may be necessary.(1), (1)
These drugs include streptomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, tobramycin, amakacin, netilmicin, neomycin, paromomycin.
